Hailing from Los Angeles, the Grammy-nominated duo who have built a global following on the strength of two guitars, two voices and an unmistakable musical chemistry.

Since forming in 2011, Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan have become renowned for their intricate guitar interplay and sublime, seamless harmonies, breathing new life into the folk tradition with a sound that feels both timeless and quietly modern.

Across a string of acclaimed releases, they’ve earned multiple Grammy nominations and widespread praise for their deeply expressive songwriting, with songs that find beauty in the smallest, most fleeting moments. Their music is intimate and immersive, rewarding those who lean in and listen closely.

But it’s on stage where The Milk Carton Kids truly shine. Effortlessly balancing precision and personality, their performances are as engaging as they are musically rich, with dry wit and onstage banter that complements the music perfectly.

Their latest album Lost Cause Lover Fool sees the duo refining their minimalist approach even further, expanding their sonic palette while staying true to the quiet emotional depth that has defined their work from the very beginning.
