First artists for 2027 announced!
The Blue Mountains Music Festival returns in 2027 for a jam-packed weekend of folk, roots, blues and more, in the heart of Katoomba, as we celebrate reaching our 30th festival!
Kicking off the first announcement of world-class musicians heading along are the triple-Grammy-nominated Milk Carton Kids, four-time Scottish Live Act of the Year winners Skerryvore and the "The first lady of young folkies" Kate Rusby.
In what’s turning out to be the year of the dynamic duo we have banjo virtuosos Ron Block & Damien O’Kane, the accomplished Alice Howe & Freebo and our very own homegrown Dom Turner & Jeff Lang who have recently joined forces to wow audiences across Australia.
Hailing from the US will be Babes In Canyon with their synth-infused indie folk and the unconventional troubadour Brett Newski. Returning favourites include long-time festival friend Kristina Olsen, acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Eleanor McEvoy, celebrated duo The Stiff Gins, and we can joyously announce Grace Petrie will indeed be heading our way after rescheduling her 2026 appearance. Finally we have the raucous Melbourne folk-funk outfit Gusto Gusto and folk pop darlings Microwave Jenny.
This year also marks an exciting new chapter for the festival as we partnering with Humantix for our new ticketing outlet. Humanitix is a not-for-profit platform that dedicates 100% of profits from booking fees to charity partners.
Early Bird tickets are on sale now until November 19 or they sell out, so don’t miss your chance to enjoy one of NSW’s premiere boutique music festivals, serving up close to 100 concerts and workshops with altitude.
