Allegra Dunning is an 11-year-old Singer-Songwriter from The Blue Mountains NSW and is already making a name for herself before hitting her teens.
Allegra was awarded the 2019 NSW Folk Federation Young Artist of the Year and has won several awards for her songwriting and performance ability, including the Maldon Minstrel Award.
Allegra performs a mix of rearranged covers and her originals with an air of eras past. She is deceptively experienced, having performed at several festivals already including Peak Music Festival, Tamworth 2019, Gympie Muster, Illawarra Folk Festival, Sydney Folk festival and many more.
She writes songs about experiences, emotions and things we fear, with a distinctive Indie-Folk/Americana feel. She performs with her guitar, yet also plays Ukulele, Drums and Piano.
2020 is looking to be a big year for Allegra, with bookings throughout the year and invitations to perform internationally. You can follow her journey by following her on Instagram, Allegra_Dunning or Facebook under her name.
