Afro Moses is an award-winning singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and teacher of music from Ghana, West Africa. Having toured consistently across numerous continents throughout an illustrious career spanning several decades, he has recently returned to Australia from touring across India, Ghana and South-East Asia.
 
Afro Moses first hit the Ghana music charts as a teenager and was labelled as ‘The African James Brown’. He was then taken from Ghana to Denmark, where he had Danish audiences lapping up his infectious music. From there, he began touring the world and to this day, continues to stun audiences worldwide.
 
A natural performer, whose star quality shines and pulls audiences in like a magnet, Afro Moses is joined on stage by his dynamic and diverse group, Moses O'Jah (‘O’Jah’ meaning ‘fire’) to bring you a high-energy show combined with positive messages of unity, individual beauty, and talent.
 
Some of his most notable accomplishments include receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2017 UK Ghana Music Awards, receiving the Living Legend award at the African-Australian Awards at the Sydney Opera House in 2012, being voted twice as Ghana’s Best International Music Ambassador, being awarded the Best Song, Best Album and Best Live Act awards at the Danish Music Awards, composing the soundtrack for a short film, Inja which was nominated for an Oscar award in 2003, as well as having shared the stage with many highly renowned artists such as Ziggy Marley and Youssou N’Dour.
