Has it really been fifteen years? Don't answer that, just have a look at the line-up for 2010. Chris Smither returns, as do Eleanor McEvoy, Genticorum, Brian Kennedy, and those wandering whackos Truckstop Honeymoon. Our very first international guest way back in 1996 was John McCutcheon and he'll be back with us for our fifteenth anniversary festival. Now add new visitors Dougie McLean, Josh White Jnr., Kim Richey, Kieran Halpin, Emily Smith and Jamie McClennan, Bob Malone, The White Top Mountaineers, Uncle Earl and Gregory Page. The huge haul of Australian talent includes Jeff Lang, Djan Djan, The Pigram Brothers, Vince Jones, Chris Wilson, The Kransky Sisters, Kerrianne Cox, Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen, Glenn Cardier, The Gail Page Trio, Bruce Mathiske, The James Valentine Quartet, Noriko Tadano, The Blues Preachers, One Africa, The Crooked Fiddle Band, Tom Richardson, Pat Drummond, Kate Rowe, Circus Solarus, Nikki Madden, The Tracey Campbell Trio, Rachael Brady, Andrea Soler, Claude Hay and the Gregg Borschmann Conversations. There may well be a couple more international and Australian surprises yet so watch this space. Earlybird tickets go on sale on bmff.org.au on Sunday 15th November. |
